If Sanders had pulled off a miracle, was Russia going to suddenly stop supporting Trump and never do anything to hack into Sanders' people's emails and servers? I'm sure there are people exchanging emails on his staff that said nasty things about Clinton...

Heck, you don't even need to hack into his emails. Just have a 10 second ad of him agreeing that he'll raise everybody's taxes and he'd have lost every state Clinton lost, plus possibly VA, CO, NV and MN...

After all, Hillary was corrupt and on the take for giving a few speeches at Goldman Sachs, but Trump is now "smart" for putting a whole slew of Goldman people in his White House...

The woman got three million more actual votes. The Hillary (also basic Clinton) hatred is deeply embedded, with little real reason if you compare her experience and abilities...and flaws... with any other candidate of either party. A lot of it IS misogyny and resentment and fear of strong women. Actually I voted for Bernie in the primary, but I'm also tired of hearing that he would have been the better candidate. The Republicans would have run a different, but equally nasty campaign against Bernie the Socialist. ( Look what they did in 2004 with a war hero versus a draft dodger). They probably would charge that he'd be (gasp!) "cozying up to Putin!"

Thank God someone else agrees; to hear most columnists and posters, Hillary was some combination of Ma Kettle and Cruella De Vil; most people have faults but to concentrate on them, ignoring her many positive points, makes me believe that - secretly - you will be quite happy with the abomination you have now, and equally happy to have the name and reputation you have now being trampled in the manure.

Like all the rest of those responsible people, I DO NOT identify with dishonest, irresponsible, and even malice-driven fools, and we should reject this characterization.

America chose Hill, but Trump was sworn in because the electoral college magnifies the vote of lesser-population states AND because the college failed its duty, the purpose for its existence.

The networks and their masters allowed this to happen. We still haven't heard one thing about a push to secure our internet privacy and our nations safety. Where are the stories on that?

I know if HRC has been elected, oh wait, she was, this is an issue that would be one of the major issues she would be dealing with.

Overtime I look at this election I can't help thinking how we crapped a great opportunity down the drain by infighting. When will get another chance like that?

mock her. I sounded the alarm bell with my friends and family about it from the get-go. My only personal regret is that I didn't hound my congressional rep and senators harder. I foolishly assumed that they'd do something about Russia's attack on our country. Instead, they ignored it and they continue to ignore it while Russia's cyber-tentacles penetrate further into our lives. This is so far from over that it sickens me. Even if 45 were ousted today, Russia is still so deep in our business that we may not be rid of them for generations if ever.

Many Americans admire and supported Hillary Clinton. Unfortunately, the Right has been poisoned for 30 years against both Clintons and the Left, sad to say, participated in trashing her. Some still are. Unforgivable. I received an offer today in the mail from Mother Jones. Went directly into the garbage. Mother Jones, The Nation, Salon....all can go to hell as far as I am concerned... they shit on Hillary and now they are dirt to me. Were they infiltrated by RW/Russian trolls? Too easy to let the Left off the hook. They used RW talking points and exuded as much hate against the DNC, HRC, and any non-pure Democrat they chose to take down.

I have been a life long Liberal Democrat and come from a long line of very Liberal people and sometimes I wonder if there is much difference these days between the Far Left so-called Progressives and RW Trumpists. I have a lot to lose under this Administration, I am not rich and never have been and I really resented LW folks stating HRC supporters were uninformed and were supporters of Wall Street elites, etc. I have not posted much on this site, I do at another and on BOTH this site and the one I normally post on I sometimes had to just stop reading because I wondered whose side some of the posters were on. Now it is all coming out but it is really too late. Damage is done.

in the headline. It certainly wasn't me nor any of my friends or family. We supported Hillary Clinton, voted for her and knew she was the best candidate of our lifetimes. The same is true of most DU members and Dems across the country.

Anyone who's feeling guilty or a wee bit ashamed now? You were not paying attention and/or were suckered by the biggest heist in American history. Those who truly hold the blame are the enablers and the chaos agents and the Republican Party who will forever be stained by their complacency, complicity and withering silence. And, of course, the Trumps themselves in all their corrupt, treasonous, lying glory.

The American electorate will not forget. Not ever.
