REPORT: White House In "Total Meltdown" Following Trump Jr. Revelation

POSTED BY: CHASE SANDERS JULY 10, 2017

-snip-

According to Jon Cooper, the Chairman of The Democratic Coalition, a former National Finance Chair for Draft Biden 2016, and a LI Campaign Chair for President Obama, the White House is in ‘total meltdown’. Cooper, who has been in contact with a Trump staffer, tweeted the following moments ago:

Cooper has posted numerous reports from those close to the White House in the past, but this latest tweet seems to show just how worried many in the Trump Administration seem to be following yesterday’s story in the New York Times. A former George W. Bush ethics lawyer, Richard Painter, discussed just how serious this report may be for the Trump Campaign.

<< “This was an effort to get opposition research on an opponent in an American political campaign from the Russians, who were known to be engaged in spying inside the United States,” Richard Painter said Sunday on MSNBC. “We do not get our opposition research from spies, we do not collaborate with Russian spies, unless we want to be accused of treason.” >>

Meanwhile President Trump has remained quiet about his son’s admission, instead using the bulk of his time today retweeting messages against James Comey, and Hillary Clinton.

If something is seriously damaging to the Brand, the push back is blustery and bombastic. There are deflections to every conceivable side issue ("Whataboutery&quot , and a determination to minimize the story ("Everyone does it, Nothing of substance was discussed at the meeting which didn't happen, Okay a meeting happened but we amended our report about it so it's all good now&quot .

I wish the popular media would recognize the pattern.

The whole 'if you punch me I punch you ten times harder thing'

If they come out swing harder on this you know he's been punched.

So what are they gonna do? They cant play the "fake news" card with this one. That song is getting old stale and overused.

The NYTimes seem to have painted them into a corner. Seems as if they knew what was said at the meeting and DTjr had to reframe his story around their reporting. That whole Russian orphan thing was a doozy of a lie.

My guess is something along the lines of "Crooked Hillary needed to be investigated and locked up" or ""The failing NYTimes wont cover the real news about jobs"

Don't tell me how I feel, thank you.

Every day something new about this whole Russia situation falls in place. tRump and his gang of thugs and miscreants were pretty dumb and/or naive to think they could leave trails like breadcrumbs and that they could keep it under control simply with lies and denials.

I have heard some really hard pushback this morning from some new faces. It did nothing to persuade me it is time to "move on." If anything, their smug, nothing to see here attitude just made me angrier. More determined to follow this trail and the people who are paid to investigate it until the end. I won't be satisfied until we know the story...the whole story....and that the guilty are punished. I don't believe I am the only one who feels this way.

Nobody can spread the BS quite like that hag. I think my blood pressure spikes 20 points as soon as I see her on camera. But boy, is she good and the big smile rarely leaves her overly made up face. She gets going on a point she wants to make and nothing can get her off of that point. So that's why they save her for the toughest gigs. She rallies the base like no one else.

But know this. If you see her on camera, things are bad. She is their Hail Mary play. If she can't get it done, no one can. 😂😂😂

He looks afraid, so I naturally thought he's afraid of his father. I read somewhere that his father slapped him in front of his college buddies once for not wearing a suit.

And Trump Sr. is a bully. It's not a big leap to imagine him bullying his kids too. Including his daughter who has probably altered her behavior to be his princess in order to get his approval.

A former George W. Bush ethics lawyer, Richard Painter, discussed just how serious this report may be for the Trump Campaign.

Campaign!?!

It pretty much confirms what many people here on DU have been saying, and corroborated by his behaviour towards Clinton since taking power. He's still in campaign mode. He hates the job of president, just HATES it, but man, was campaigning ever fun. Let's all campaign until the NEXT election!

My guess is that he's just trying to figure out how he can make as much money as he can off of occupying the White House, as fast as he can, while trying to run out the time left on the clock. His lawyers have probably discussed with him past presidents who've run afoul of the law and how long it took for the right hand of the law to catch up with them. With each day that passes, something new is revealed, and that means more things for the Special Counsel to investigate. At his age and with us knowing nothing about the actual status of his health, I'd bet money that he'll die in office before his term is up. His age, his weight, his unhealthy eating habits, and his head exploding from Hillary and Obama hatred will eventually cause a massive stroke or heart attack that will either take him out, or leave him impaired and unable to carry out the duties of the office.

And they passed them on?
There is always a kernel of truth in Trump's emails, he can't help himself, he has to brag and gloat.

has been and continues to be in a continuous state of meltdown which is why there is nothing but a spinning puddle of staffers, contradicting themselves and their ever-changing, bloviating boss. And, of course, at each pivot point of disastrous news, the conversation turns to James Comey, Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, etc., etc., etc.
.
The only good thing? Nothing much is getting done. Which in this case is a blessing.

As for Don, Jr? Chip off the old block. Step right into the buzz saw then change your story with each telling. And blame others. Always.

I hope they're nervous. I hope they're melting down and running scared. They deserve every damn moment.

Who will be the next diversion? Another Mica tweet? The DNC? Podesta? That female Russian operative who verified the meeting with Jr.? She IS female and IS overweight. Perfect fodder for Trump.
