I have a theory about the new leaks

coming out in the NYT about DTjr.

My thought is that Trumps catastrophic G20 trip- and the resulting meeting with Putin were he capitulated and didn't do shit- raised an alarm for some patriots within the government (who were possibly sitting on the fence about saying or doing anything until Mueller is further along) and they have HAD IT.

I also think the drip-drip-drip of info releasing from the NYT is genius. It forced DTjr to make two different statements- contradicting AND implicating himself in the second.

...the timing is likely coincidental. The Times would not suddenly receive this story and immediately publish it. They would take several days to confirm detail, write and edit what was published this weekend.

My theory is that the investigative team (Mueller) had a wee bit of a gap in the timeline, had some difficulty tying everything together. So they leaked just a bit of the info to see if the assholes would bite. Team tRump fell for it and provided comments that can be used against them and close the gap.

6. And again, NONE of this matters... NONE of it, until

the Republican majority says it does and acts accordingly. In this matter, the Democrats are irrelevant, and it doesn't matter what Rachel says, or anybody else. The Republicans have to come around to the realization that TRUMP is a liability before Beavis, Butthead, or their dad feel any real hurt.
