(253 posts)It is just unbelievable that he would do this. It's as if he is deliberately trying to hurt his own family.
He has an attorney.
cstanleytech
(26,280 posts)is being honest and clearly had no intent to commit a crime since why else would he release the information?
LanternWaste
(37,748 posts)That would be a pretty stupid plan. Releasing material after a denial of that material's existence wouldn't weaken anything relevant to the case as it stands.

That's how wrong he is....

(12,448 posts)would have told Junior to STFU in no uncertain terms. Possibly Donny thinks if he goes down EVERYBODY goes down. That would be in the family tradition.
DefenseLawyer
(11,101 posts)The Russian attorney came out and said that she had been approached by the Trump campaign about getting dirt on Clinton. That would implicate Manafort, et al, in the collusion (as if there isn't plenty of other evidence of that, but be that as it may). Junior posts this to show that the Russians asked for the meeting. Yes, it buries him further, personally, but it's a better narrative (I guess) for Donald and the fellas. Junior is taking the fall. He killed Miles and he's going over for it.

(15,696 posts)The reference is in the email at the bottom of the chain.
Any ideas?
Never mind. I found her. It's Rhona Graff, Donnie Two Scoops' longtime assistant.

that someone wants to check-out while the

It is possible that the actual iceberg itself is so damning

The dominoes are falling in a sequence that favors this scenario. Donald needs to go down first. I doubt Pence would pardon the others for treason.

I will cautiously curb my enthusiasm, until I see something really happening to make me think our Democracy is being protected by a true patriot somewhere, somehow.

(2,594 posts)Hmmm. Makes one ponder with whom tRump will side. My bet's on Kushner. After all, he'd only have to jettison one of his sons but if he rids himself of Jared, he'd likely lose his daughter and grandkids in the bargain. It's practically Shakespearean.
More_Cowbell
(2,190 posts)So he wanted to be first to publish. Also, I bet Trump's mad that Putin had that lawyer lie about "who asked who first." Finally, I agree that Trump would try to save Jared (only for the sake of Ivanka) before his own son.
Also, don't forget that Faux News and the GOP have started saying that there's nothing wrong with collusion; everybody does it. I'm sure this won't hurt the Trumps with their base.

(48,988 posts)Thus by date of that first email, about a week after Republicon Convention, there had already been negotiations and agreements for that support.
The quid pro quo was the change to the Republican platform regarding sanctions against Russia and that there would be ongoing efforts by tRump to lift the sanctions.

(28,787 posts)i had to go look at the tweet to believe it. it is damning.
one of the cult member's response on twitter: this is fake news
and still i am so suspicious! is he really that stupid? hmm. apparently. but he lawyered up yesterday. i'm literally fearful that this is a hoax and trump will somehow prove it - they'll prove for instance that jr's twitter account was hacked and the email is BS, or something.
i mean this is some damning shit. i also incidentally would like to stop hearing that daddy didn't know about it. give me a fucking break.

(9,067 posts)Wouldn't it be ironic if email takes down tRump?
What would be even better is for imaginary hacker to release the thousands of emails stolen from tRump's server in the Tower. It really doesn't matter if they are real or fake.
