(99,710 posts)I don't know what they resemble more: a clown car or a mob family.

(62,444 posts)My bet was that he'd do something overtly, blatantly and unquestionably impeachable inside of a month.
But we are comparing "shit show", "all star shit review", and "The Aristocrats" here.

(4,723 posts)Considering the nightmarish scenarios playing in my head, this is pretty tame. I fully expected WWIII to be raging by this time, started by Two Scoops getting the stink eye during a meeting with one leader or another.

(11,088 posts)While trump does the White House version of the apprentice. Yes that would have been less of a shit show than this.

(888 posts)I assumed, Reince Priebus would be the adult in the room, more of a political guru that everyone would run things by him, just to gauge the political response.
They are way more out of control, "I know better" morons, then I realize could be possible

(50,267 posts)of the country treading water because the know nothings knew nothing. Instead, we've got a full blown criminal enterprise aided and abetted by the Republican party.

(8,760 posts)All Republican administrations misrepresent reality in areas that they deem necessary , but I did not expect that this administration and Trump would lie about literally every detail in every moment. Lying about things as ridiculous as crowd sizes, and Trump's consistent tendency to contradict his own spokespersons, right after they lie from the podium for him. Trump's direct confession on Russia....His son posting incriminating emails. Normally, I would interpret things like that as a cry for help.

(22,976 posts)Actually, I expected a biblical-proportioned shitshow, which we've been served daily; what stupefies me is the utter lack of skill (finesse, ability, whatever) these traitors possess in plying their shadowy trade. If they cared a whit about how inept they appear to 3/4 of the U.S. and the entire world, it doesn't show. They don't give a fuck about their blatant lies. And they all lie. They never even HEARD of Russia. They are completely psychopathic and haven't a shred of empathy.
I've come to the realization that the coup wasn't so much right-wing as it is overtly criminal. The United States was overthrown by organized crime. And they mean to rob us (poor & middle class) blind, just suck up what little we have, and take it all upstream.

(12,448 posts)that DOES NOT mean that I expected anything good. I fully expected a shit show, but Dump and his odious family have far exceeded my expectations.

(9,527 posts)I figured they wouldn't actually be this bad at trying to accomplish things. Their actual plans are as bad as I thought, but it's like the Keystone Kops, except the Trump administration isn't trying to be funny.

(118,622 posts)republicans because he was quoted in so many interviews saying liberal things over tge years. Turns out he is letting the right wing nuts run all policy. He really does not care what happens to people, many of whom voted for him.
