on the ticket. A lot of these really red states do not even have a Democratic competitor.

Good for them. I will have to do a little research. I have a friend there, totally apolitical. I can give her a pat on the back, while doing nothing.

These seats were Republican held, but given up due to Republican forced resignations. I think our Dem will win the next one, too.

I do know Oklahoma has been making statements and maybe even getting laws passed that is causing a lot of problems there. Kansas also.

12. Yes, and people are sick of these dumb ass laws being passed by the repub controlled legislature.

I think we can make some real progress here in the coming elections. Mary Fallin will be gone, and the Governor's seat wil be up for grabs. Okla passes laws that are almost immediately challanged, at cost to our taxpayers. Most of these laws go down in flames, but not before getting national attention for their inherent stupidity.

If it can happen in Oklahoma, it can happen anywhere. Organize, get people registered to vote, and talk up the Democratic platform (better pay and working conditions, universal health care, and cleaner water and air)

I had considered this a month or so ago. Starting well ahead this time. He was a little late and couldn't seem to get the traction. I bet he learned a lot in that experience.

...THIS is what those 4 Special Election losses ACTUALLY meant for Dems.

Sure, we LOST against Republicans in SUPER reliably Red seats. But we've made up a RIDICULOUS amount of ground in just 6 months, and that will start equating into big wins in moderate to deep Red areas now and in 2018.

I. CAN'T. FUCKING. WAIT.
