Greatest lie of evening. Trump: "I just learned about my son's meeting a few days ago."

Last edited Wed Jul 12, 2017, 07:20 PM - Edit history (1)

This is what he told Reuters today and it'ss an outright lie. Trump knew of the meeting shortly after it was considered and may even have encouraged it. The proof is in this simple timeline:

June 3: Trump's son received the e-mail promising the Kremlin's dirt on Hillary during a later meeting.

June 7: Trump, on the eve of what he feared might become a contested nomination, promises a major speech on the Clintons and their corruptions in the near future. "Maybe next Monday." (That would be Monday, June 13.)

June 9: Trump's son et al. meet with the Kremlin lawyer, three days before the date of Trump's speculative, upcoming speech.

Why would he have announced a major revelation on the Clintons in the near future if he did not expect to get a significant amount of dirt on Hillary in the interim (between the 7th and 13th, which is when he planned to speak . . . the meeting was on the 9th)?

...mentions it to his boss?

Not a chance.

The only way they wouldn't have immediately run back to him with a play-by-play would be if he had been listening the whole time.

There are other emails. There are phone records. There may even be recordings.

can't wait to start benefiting from it, claiming he'll have a big speech soon. "Probably next Monday."

It's clear that tRump's biggest liability is his massive ego, which leads him to believe he is smarter and cleverer than everyone else, when in fact, he is an idiot who is typically 4 steps behind the curve.
