A Conservative Media Site Just Published Jeff Sessions' No-Press-Allowed Religious Freedom Speech

US Attorney General Jeff Sessions delivered a speech on Tuesday night to a private, no-press-allowed gathering of Christian conservatives fighting to expand religious liberty — thereby giving the Trump administration's tacit endorsement to a group that uses courts and legislatures to permit LGBT discrimination, and restrict access to abortions.

Sessions' office had declined to release the speech — despite requests from BuzzFeed News and other media outlets — even though the attorney general made the remarks in his official capacity as head of the US Justice Department.

But on Thursday, conservative media outlet The Federalist published the remarks as prepared under Sessions' byline. The Alliance Defending Freedom, which held the Tuesday event, confirmed to BuzzFeed News that the published remarks were what Sessions said to the group. The Department of Justice and The Federalist did not immediately return requests for comment.

In his talk, Sessions said he would use the power of the Justice Department in court to defend religious freedom. "We will defend freedom of conscience resolutely," he said. "That is inalienable. That is our heritage."

That's why he tried to keep the substance of his remarks away from the public.

So, Sessions is going to "defend freedom of conscience resolutely," is he? I am a member of one of the historic peace churches of Christendom, one whose founder declared that "all war is sin," a proposition with far more solid biblical grounding than anything to do with birth control or abortion. Will AG Sessions be defending my freedom of conscience not to pay any portion of my taxes that goes to supporting the biggest war machine the planet has ever seen? If not, why not?

Why?
Because he is a self-professed (loudly) X-tian and in today's world, the louder they scream "I'm a Christian"....the more I hear "I am a hateful bigot using a twisted version of an ancient religion to spread my hate onto others with government sanction."

Be careful about not living righteously merely to be seen by people. Otherwise you have no reward with your Father in heaven. (Matthew 6:1).

Sessions, I truly hope there is a hell. First because if there is such a place, my personal hell would be spending eternity anywhere near you or your kind of asshole...so if it exists, we'll be there together and while it will suck for me for eternity, I will have the small solace of knowing that you get to spend your eternity in the presence of a being that HATES you, your idiotic religion and anyone who bastardizes it further to gain money or curry favor...FUCK YOU Jeff-Beau!

Here is what he is aligning himself with:

“ADF’s whole media shtick is that they’re just protecting Christians who just want to live out their faith freely. Pretty harmless right? But off camera, they’re basically monsters…ADF opposes hate crime laws, they oppose anti-bullying efforts, the think that gay kids are ‘trapped in homosexual behavior’ and need to be freed of their lives of sin. One ADF document warned that anti-bullying policies would ‘promote homosexual behavior to impressionable children.’
