You can say they reduce inhibitions, but not the same. He was involuntarily committed. If he is schizophrenic, his age is now a factor as most men are diagnosed at about 18-21 years old, when they become symptomatically uncontrollable. Why do we keep trying to ascribe normal, predictive behaviors to the mentally ill? They are not normal, not predictive, except that as psychopaths, their behavior will be marked by a lack of empathy, lies, violence, possible delusions, hallucinations, manipulative, etc...
