Trump: "The United States and Russia Have Always Been Close Allies..."

And so the Newspeak goes. A lie told often enough, gets accepted as truth by ignorant people. We're seeing that in action more and more every day.

On edit: (apparently this was needed.... )

Russia was never even part of the Soviet Union. Got it. We never ever banned any of our citizens from traveling to Moscow any documentation that says other wise is also lie from the past.

Please read the original post again. Trump did not actually say that. The thread is satire. Have you read the novel, "1984?"

He has said so many crazy things. It would not be unbelievable for him to say this.

And nothing about the original post sounds like satire. They just write a quote attributable to him and say it sounds like newspeak.

forgot that the Russians stole and copied by hand our B-29, forgot Russians only got involved in Pacific to gain territory, forgot Russians flew North Korean Migs against our troops. Forgot Russians flew North Vietnamese Migs against our planes, forgot Russians were bringing ICBM to Cuban 90 miles away from Florida, forgot Russians under the guise of Syrians attack American aligned fighters, there are just so many forgots.....with friends like the Russians who need enemies.

Satire vs reality.....the Onion is more real today, then was passes for journalism.
