Associate all Republicans running as being tied to Trump and his lies and incompetence.

The Democratic Party has to be more than the anti-Trump party. What difference does it make if Trump sucks but we don't have anything better to offer?

In a lot of districts that voted for Hillary ....the anti Trump sentiment will be high and Goppers will try to run from Trump....

And it might even work. So what are the democrats going to offer besides that. We need a new vision. I know at least one Trump voter that would be open to a new message, if we had one.

6. We had a great one in 2016. Perhaps some major issues should

be reduced to brief catchphrases and hit hard.

"A living wage. "It's also a moral issue."

"A fair day's wage for a fair day's work"--slogan of the AFL. "It's a moral issue."

"Kicking ass for the working class." "It's a moral issue."

"We can have democracy, or we can have great wealth concentrated in the hands of a few, but we can't have both."

"Say no to climate change! Save our clean air. Save our water. Save our children's futures."

"Be a PROUD American. Vote for our great America. Vote Democratic."

"Vote Democratic. We're not perfect, but they're nuts."

But I really don't think we can substantially improve our platform. Massage, update as the current conditions suggest, but WE are the party of the people, all of the people, the genuine Big Tent.
