Umm..If You're Really Concerned About Russian Adoptions, Shouldn't You Be Lobbying PUTIN?

Dear MSM,
Can you please stop repeating the ridiculously feeble talking point that Natalia Veselnitskaya, Akhmetshin and Goldstone were lobbying on behalf of Americans adopting Russian orphans? The ban on Russian adoption was put in place by RUSSIA in retaliation for the Magnitsky Act, which allows the U.S. to freeze the assets of Russian gangsters and keptocrats, most of whom are friends of Putin.

Saying this is about adopting poor little orphans is like putting a cherry on top of a steaming coil of dog shit, and calling it chocolate mousse.

This is not about LITTLE ORPHAN ANNIE, it's about DADDY F-ING WARBUCKS.

I can't believe even OUR naive press is continuing to repeat the talking point. Or, more importantly, not pointing out that Trump eagerly scampered to the meeting when he thought it was about getting dirt on Clinton from Russian spies...and then WALKED AWAY DISAPPOINTED when he found out it was (ostensibly) about adopting orphans.

ever since Don Jr. tried to dismiss his meeting with the Russian lawyer as "discussing Russian adoptions." He is too fucking stupid to know that the ban on Russian adoptions is tied to sanctions against Russia, that the ban was in retaliation for sanctions, that the Russians might use the promise to lift the ban if we would end the sanctions, that this is a serious fucking matter, but the news media and Democrats in general are not so dumb. So why aren't the pundits pointing this out?
