The only way they can get people to vote for them is by lying about what they are really up to, to the point where they have to lie all the time and it's become normal for them.

Trust us. We're the only ones you can trust. The party is mother, the party is father. Others lie to you, but we don't. We always tell you the truth. From now on, you put all your trust in us, see?
