A cheaper health care policy aimed at the young and healthy will not include annual testing that catches issues before they become life-threatening. You can feel fine and healthy and still have cancer for quite a while before it's to late to do anything. A lot of illnesses you can't prevent, but if you catch the early enough you can survive...if you can afford the tests and proceedures that your cheap policy won't cover.
