After failing to do what they've been promising to do for eight years, the embarrassment was too much for Republicans in the U.S. Senate, and all have submitted their resignations en masse.
I know, I know...wishful thinking, but the bunch of losers should do that, just to spite themselves.

(9,895 posts)If they are there and just afraid of the former Tea Party and current Trump maniacs and being primaried in '18 or '20, is there any way to work with them to produce some form of compromise that at least shores up the current law and explores ways to improve on it rather than rip it out and start over again?
Its clear that the population is NOT in for repeal or replace. The options that have been put forth in the House and Senate are catastrophically short sighted and mean spirited.
There HAS to be some people left in the GOP that are not scum sucking slime bags only in it for the money and to curry favorable post-term lobbying gigs....right? Or am I being too wistful in thinking there is a shred of humanity in that party left to work with???

(146,192 posts)Right now, three Republican women are promising to vote NO on any repeal. I'll give them the "moderate" label. The rest, though, are just right-wingers from now on, as far as I'm concerned.
