Great Sousa photos of our favorite president with Sasha & Malia

I always find it bittersweet to see a great photo of Obama, and that is probably the case for most of us. Sweet for what we had, but it makes the loss more acute to see such a photo.

1. Turns out we did not deserve them, any of them, not for a single minute.

And that is coming from me, someone who thinks most Democratic politicians are too corporate influenced. But compared to GOP, they are angels.

3. Why do you say we didn't deserve them? I think it's the current admin that we didn't deserve.

Many of us have been very active over the years, doing our best to make things better.

a. we abandoned him in 2010, some of us did

b. we allowed the worst humans alive to gain power by not showing up in 2016 or voting 3rd party

c. we as a nation are NOW represented by trump and the deplorables

d. most treated them like shit while they worked their asses off to SAVE us

When I think of what happened last year, the comments by so called progressives, makes my blood boil

I hope the GOP might some day show appreciation for the fine job Obama did while he was in office.
Maybe some day, they might even thank him.

I know we Democrats already do appreciate Obama, but the GOP were complete a--holes to him.
It breaks my heart.

Remember when the right lost their minds because Michelle said water was healthy?

but you and I did deserve the Obama's and Hillary.

And we did everything we could for them, but traitors were more active I guess.

election theft. (ELECTION fraud, NOT voter fraud, which is a myth invented by GOP to justify voter suppression; just clarifying although most on this forum know the difference. )

13. Yes the election was stolen and we need to fix this immediately

It's not going to fix itself, and the GOP doesn't give a shit (for obvious reasons). We have to make this stop happening, and before the next election.

So first we switch to paper ballots and prevent the hacked voting machines from cheating us. Then once we get a majority in Congress (it will take a while) we have to stop the gerrymandering, and redraw the districts so they're fair and equitable. The GOP - really the Tea Party - took 10 or 12 years to get the congressional districts redrawn so they would win every election. The Democrats have been ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL for that long!

Then that's all done we need to work on how we sign up new voters and clean-up our voter registration abuse. And yes there has been abuse but mainly it's done by the GOP, like fraudulent of counting absentee ballots etc. And I'd be real happy if we abolished the Electoral College, but that would take a constitutional amendment, and we're a long way from there.

First things first!

You've got to believe in the Tooth Fairy and Easter Bunny if you're expecting Repugs to ever "thank" him.
This is the group that from DAY 1 they were determined to make him a 1-term President.
It is a blessing and honor that the United States was able to have this classy, brilliant, intelligent GENTLEMAN as our President, in spite of what the Pugs tried to do.
I'll do what they NEVER will:

THANK YOU, Mr. President, for what you and your family did for our country!

I did. It has been a delight watching them grow up.

The Obama WH had multiple generations living together for the good of the family.

A lot like a good deal of America.

I dunno. That was always a huge positive in my eyes.
