Fascinating inside look at Yertle, & Health Care Bill, by former Congressional staff person.

This is in the form of a Twitter thread, which means you click on the link and it opens to top to bptom numbered Tweets on McConnel.
The author says he worked for Reid for years, so he knows Senate ins and outs.

I will post the link and those who want to read it all just have to click.

here are high lights:

* an unprecedented, full-blown rebellion by Republican senators against their leader, McConnell.

*He has taken power & influence away from other senators.

*Senators want to get things done. McConnell's pitch to his fellow Republicans was always, let's get power & THEN we'll get things done.
Their problem now is that the tactics McConnell employed to accrue power undercut their ability to get things done.

*this is a MASSIVE humiliation for McConnell. And he'll spend every waking moment plotting his redemption.

And this is perfect, with thanks to Kpete for posting earlier:

For people to start sentences with, "Remember when McConnell..." while the turtle is still in congress. I want him to be so irrelevant that no one even notices he is still sitting there looking like a sad little turtle.

Appears McConnell and Ryan are in full destruct mode. The only thing that seems to be saving the Rethugs is,the lack of the Media going after them like they went after Hillary and the Dems. Do realize Corporate media is in full support of Trump and his Cronies because it sells copy . How much longer this runs is just a guess.

I tend to get a lot of breaking news and pre-MSM information from Twitter, once i learned how to populate my feed with good reliable sources.
Watching CNN go into spasms over kissing Trump's ass versus covering the same scandal news as the competition is rather interesting.

CEO Zucker is in deep crap with Trump and Trump wants his scalp. BTW,ATT&T wants CNN and they apparently are willing to dump Zucker to get Trumps support for the deal.

This is only going to get real Ugly in the next couple of months. McConnell is toast as of yesterday, and if you caught the Issa comment, the House Rethugs are going all in with their Wreck America Agenda knowing they are Road Kill next year.

On prospects for repeal, I agree with everyone who's saying keep the pressure up- this bill is the Terminator. It will keep coming back. 14/
