McCain could be a hero AGAIN (and the GOP for the first time) if

they actually wrote a bill that represented all people (the sick, non rich, and not covered by an employer). They could be real heroes and treat everyone equally and write, sign and deliver a single payer plan. Shit, call it McCainCare for all I care. JUST DO IT!

has around 16 to 24 months to live.

He will probably realize that he will never run for the Senate again. We may (and only MAY) see the return of the Straight Talk express McCain for his last act on the world stage.

writing a bipartisan health care bill (which would likely exclude the conservative wing of the Republicans) would be a crowning achievement. Probably not single payer, but maybe better than the ACA... but certainly better than the current Senate and House bills.
