(2,190 posts)When people make these statements openly. *then* they'll be true. This guy might not be afraid that Trump can ruin his career politically, but he's sure afraid of Trump's reaction to being humiliated.

(53,739 posts)And it's not like trump is well respected and riding high in popularity, plus, every time he opens his mouth he reveals how little he knows how Washington works.
I don't think they're scared of a know-nothing president who has accomplished little and is obsessed with Russia, embroiled in an investigation in fact because of that obsession, and whose idea of persuasion is adolescent-like tweets in the morning.
I know he tried to intimidate Senator Heller from Nevada but from living in Vegas I know Heller's stock rose here because he took a stand against that horrendous bill.
So no, I don't think the senators are afraid of the orange blob.
