More Trump drivel
In the NY Times interview, Trump makes an unsubstantiated claim that James Comey acted illegally.
"So think of this. Mike. He illegally leaks, and everyone thinks it is illegal, and by the way, it looks like it’s classified and all that stuff. So he got — not a smart guy — he got tricked into that, because they didn’t even ask him that question. They asked him another question, O.K.?"
Hey, Trump! If it's illegal, prosecute him. The same goes for your predecessor: if President Obama illegally wire-tapped you, have it investigated and prosecuted.
Of course, Trump can't and won't do that because neither Mr. Comey nor Mr. Obama did anything illegal.
Trump is a toothless tiger who always backs down. Besides, no one in the Senate-- not even the pages!-- are afraid of Trump:
