Oh, he'll get a few days of camera attention but after that, he's going to be just another ex con, although his pension will allow him to live without bagging groceries or being a greeter at Wally's. His children have finished growing up without him and most of his friends have moved on.

He's been in prison for nearly 9 years, probably close to what he'd have actually served had he been convicted of murder. The civil trial took everything but his pension.

I'd say justice has been served.

the Brown and Goldman murders.

He might have gotten life without parole. At the bare minimum he would have gotten 25 years.

and it's not inconceivable that he'd be out now. prisons are crowded and people who are deemed not to be a threat (since their nearest and dearest are no longer alive to threaten), they're turned loose.

Remember, one of the enduring scandals in this country is that murderers serve little time while nonviolent pot smokers are in forever.

Coming into this Nevada Felony Conviction. One has NOTHING to do with the other. He has a Civil Judgment in the Brown/Goldman case that O.J. will STILL be countable for as a monetary judgment until it is paid in full.

Those are the facts and nothing but.

There were several posters who reliably came out of the woodworks to argue for her guilt, which was flat-out absurd.

It was generally the only topic they commented on. Loons or trolls, take your pick.

It also afforded every half-wit in the nation the opportunity to be an expert on every aspect of the judicial system, and allow us their unimpeachable, unerring and absolute judgement on both guilt and innocence.
