Pro-tip: if some guy is out shooting stuff in the street, try to get away from that street.

They went through all the normal stuff and then got into a discussion about who should have keys to the gate that went into the worksite that was also a secured area of the Marine base.

Evidently the marine corporal in the area kept taking off the general padlock and replacing it with one that only the marines could open which required them to stop work and find the guy with the key which wasted a lot of time and the electricians had gotten into some heated arguments with the marines that were supposed to guard that part of the fence.

The supervisor asked "is the corporal armed?"

"Yes"

"Standard operating procedure, never argue with someone that has a gun".

I thought that was the most sensible statement ever given at a safety meeting.

From your link:

Though Jove began firing to kill only a vehicle, a Hialeah sergeant says he saw Jove fire at an AT&T worker in a raised bucket lift. Hialeah police arrested on a charge of aggravated assault with a firearm and criminal mischief. He posted $30,000 bond. Police seized the handfun from Jove, who doesn’t have a concealed weapons permit, according to the arrest affidavit.

Emphasis added.

Don't like those big, noisy work trucks parked on the street? Shoot out the tires and make sure they stay there for a lot longer than they would have, otherwise.

Please, Florida, make an exception and take this dumbass's gun away from him. Just this once. Thank you.
