It's actually a beautiful state. I've been between here and South Georgia practically my whole life. I know it's cliche, but really...we AREN'T all like this! I swear. Some of us Florida Men are up to buck the trend at this point.

Assault with a deadly weapon
Going armed at the terror of the public (a unique NC law, not sure if they have an equivalent in FL)
Damage to personal property
Discharging a firearm within 100 feet of a road
Discharging a firearm within 300 feet of an occupied dwelling.
Discharging a firearm inside city limits

And anything else we could come up with.

"PENALTIES FOR AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: In Florida, Aggravated Assault is a third degree felony, ...The range of punishments can increase substantially, to include mandatory prison of up to 20 years, where a firearm is discharged during the course of an incident."

Florida has the 10-20-30 law, with 20 years mandatory for discharging the firearm in the course of a felony. He will most likely make a deal, but you can't really argue Florida is soft on this particular crime...
