As I got out of bed this morning I recalled my paternal grandmother's words

from way back when she said them to my then five year old brother.

"Learn not to brag, learn not to boast,
Grief comes to him who brags the most".

I didn't know then that they weren't her original words, but they had a profound influence on my life. I always avoided people who boast and show off.

What I do know is that no one ever said them to the short-fingered vulgarian - Groper Don the Con.
It's grief time Groper - you're going down.

My grandmother said "Live and learn. Some people only live".

I don't know if those were her words or not, but they are pretty profound, nonetheless.

We left JA for the US when I was 4, but Mom didn't allow me to forget my Jamaican heritage.

I will be assisting an orphanage in Kingston by way of sending clothing, etc., as a way of giving back. I plan to visit the orphanage soon, so will be on the Island for the first time in 14 years.

The higher up you are the harder it is on the way down. Don, may you have the biggest and the hardest fall ever when you hit bottom.

He's never seen that in practice either. He has never had to face actual consequences for anything he's done.

no matter how much I disliked them.

Until Trump. Not just Trump but Trump-in-the-White-House.

Almost daily I am LIVID and OUTRAGED that some absurd combination of factors happened give us this monstrous and pathetic joke as President.

Vehemently and energetically, I wish him every possible bad thing to repay him for an entire life of chicanery, thievery, deceit, unparalleled greed and self-aggrandizing, self-serving, self-entitled malfeasance.

I do NOT wish him physical harm -- but I also can't think of anything that might happen to him physically which would cause any remorse, regret, sympathy or empathy for him personally.

And I'm not too far behind all this where his grifter children are concerned.
