Sort of like when Kate McKinnon, as Hillary Clinton, was at a bar lamenting her lot in life and the "bartender" turned out to be the real HRC. I could see a similar skit with Melissa McCarthy in the Spicey role and Spicer as the bartender.

After Melissa McCarthy's first SNL appearance as him, I read that he floated the idea of taking a super soaker out to the podium as a joke. He was told not to do that.

That would have actually been funny.

and I think it would be a bit of a catharsis for himself and the rest of the country as well. The funnier the show, the more of a meltdown for the trumpanian. Man, Spicer (and us) really took it on the chin. Most of it was his own doing, perhaps because of his naval officer loyalty to his mission, but part of me goes out to him too. He played the hand he should've folded on, bluffed (lied) as best he could and lost out in the end.
