or the hard way. Sessions didn't get the hint that Trump wanted him to resign so, miraculously, leaks appear about Sessions talking with the Russians. Who had that information all along? Why Trump of course. Sessions was talking with the Russians on his behalf after all. This isn't news to Trump. It was valuable kompramat for use against Sessions when needed. Sessions, of course, made himself vulnerable to this kind of blackmail when he lied under oath in his confirmation hearing. That's how this works. Trump needs Sessions out of the way so he can appoint someone in his place who will do his bidding in ending the Mueller investigation. So, when Sessions didn't resign on Friday the way that Trump wanted him to, he ratcheted it up a notch. Trump can't go to Sessions directly since he is under such scrutiny, so he needs to send his not so subtle signals to the Attorney General. Then, blame his enemies for the leaks-yeah, that will cover his tracks. Getting rid of Sessions so he can find a way to fire Mueller. A Hail Mary pass by Trump as the pressure mounts on him. Hopefully this wall fall incomplete in the end zone. Trump's no Doug Flutie.

I'd say pictures at a klan rally but that wouldn't really be a negative for him. That plan you came up with is a little complex for Trump.
I give you a rec for Flutie. I remember watching that game the day after Thanksgiving. Turned it on in the 3rd quarter. My ex-girlfriend said "why do they even bother playing the last 6 seconds, they should just end the game" . Ha!
