That message is the message I get from Trump's recent speech. We are crossing the Rubicon. Trump's recent speech is dangerous and really treason. Calling on the military to support the GOP agenda sounds more like a coup.

He'd have to get the military to make changes to the UCMJ regs regarding political activities of military personnel. They're pretty strict about it.

As usual, tRump was talking out of his ass.

I've seen how the UCMJ is implemented. Political interference like that would be met with a lot of resistance from the generals and admirals.

Also, last year there were changes made to the justice system in the military after a study was completed that was ordered by Chuck Hagel when he was Sec of Defense.

That had to go through the Senate Armed Services Committee, too.

So, yeah, still not gonna happen.

4. I Am Sure You Are Correct. I Am A Vet Too. Was A Company Clerk Had A UCMJ Manual.

I used to read the UCMJ as a company clerk. Had to be familiar with it. Also had to type up charges for a court marshal on one of our troops for desertion who was found innocent by the way. I even remember his last name after almost 50 years. The UCMJ was interesting reading. Had the responsibility to prepare paperwork for Article 15's and other infractions as well.

most of the dead in Vietnam were poor kids sucked in by the draft, not rich kids with money to get deferments or special assignments.
