For a while I had hope we would be okay. But today I again lost that hope

We are witnessing the end of America as we knew it.

once the healthcare is taken away many will die. Me included. And I have good insurance through spouse's work. But don't kid yourself. Once the ACA is ripped up, work insurance will follow suit.

Oh the vote, healthcare

Now I heard they were told they need 60 votes for most of the bill, if that is true that is important.

because for years I was too sick to afford it and then I couldn't get it at any price. The ACA kicked in just a little too late for me, I'd just become eligible for Medicare when it finally did.

Talk to your doctors and pester drug companies for their tax writeoff "low income compassionate" programs. The combination can help.

If this goes through, it won't take effect until 2020 and I honestly believe that they'll start to extend it 6 months at a time by then because after 11 years they won't have any more of an alternative than they do now after wasting 7 years on fruitless repeals with no replacement in sight.

What it will do immediately is create a lot of uncertainty among providers, from kids considering med and nursing school on through nursing homes and hospitals. Many will close because of it and with fewer applicants, some schools might shut down their medical programs. It will create an artificial shortage of resources while facilities sit empty and unused.

We know the brick wall is about to drop, so we can try to get out of the way of the worst of it. Trumpers are just sitting there under it, playing with themselves, and will bear the brunt of the crash.

Then again, "those damned women" might prevail and repeal might not pass. I hope that is the case.

I've called them ALL 100 over three time each in past 6 months. I share my own personal story and it is true, sad, and probably won't change enough minds. They are greedy, hypocritical sociopaths. I hope they suffer physically, mentally, emotionally, and financially as I have and will but only at an even more extreme level.

I vote for a general revolution at this point.
