Recess Appointment Question.. or Whoever thought I would be hoping that Jeff Session remains AG

Okay, if Trump fires Sessions and puts in someone while the Senate is in recess, the position becomes vacant again at the end of the next session of Congress. What if the Senate were to actually vote against the person? Does he lose his position once the vote is recorded or do we still have to wait until the end of the next session of Congress?

Who ever thought I would be hoping that Jeff Session remains AG... by god
