Is that really going to have much impact on the investigations? How did Nixon get impeached after he fired the special prosecutor? They say by Nixon firing the special prosecutor it was the beginning of the end for Nixon. It is generally seen as a mistake.

1. There were some reasonable republicans that went to the impeachment option.

There are no longer reasonable republicans, there will be no impeachment threat and the investigation will end. I also think both the house and senate will then drop their investigations.

2. If Trump fires Mueller the investigation at best will be put on hold

until Democrats take congress in 2018. If Democrats fail to take back the house than the investigation is over with.

3. Your defeatist attitude is unwarranted.

There will be an explosion in Congress by all Democrats and at least a few Republicans if this happens.

More importantly, there will be an explosion by citizens, and it will be massive. It will make the women's protests of a few months ago and the Vietnam demonstrations look like mere blips.

Stop sulking and get ready to mobilize and demonstrate......maybe even be a part of a general strike all across the country.
