Health Care Movement to Proceed will Pass: Now is the time to fight and leave nothing back
This will pass in a few. From now and until the final vote.
1. Senate Democrats must do everything and anything to slow the final vote. Filibuster by amendment, points of of procedure, etc. If you live in a blue state, get on the phone and encourage your senator to fight.
2. There are GOP senators that we have to get into our camp. If you live in NV, WV, KY, OH, etc.. get on the phone and tell them the local effects of this.
3. Get the facts out on this. The rumor is, they are going to start with "shinny repeal". What this does is basically take out the individual mandate. We still don't have the full facts of the bill, but this is undemocratic and insane. Once they vote for this bill, we need to inform ourselves as fast as possible on what the bill does and get that out to our own social groups.
In sum, it is now or never. This goes down this week or literally thousands will die and millions will lose economic security. The last few months have been draining, but we have to fight hard now.
