There might be one silver lining in all of this

There is a small chance that this will drag on for sometime, and that will stymie the republican agenda.

On November 8th, the progressive advances that took decades to achieve, are in jeopardy, and anything that delays the destruction of those advances is a good thing.

How important is 2018?

is read Democracy In Chains by Nancy Maclean - to realize what the hell is going on....more and more reviews coming in on this excellent book..I am not selling anything..read it for yourself, if you so choose....

Would you reach into a toilet filled with diarrhea to extract a nickle? Even that pales in comparison to what they are doing versus what can be saved. I appreciate your optimism and would like to share it, but right now I can't get past the revulsion.

Other than the state/local party of your choice

Emily's List (supports pro-choice Democratic women)
Run for Something (supports Democrats under 35 with a focus on local offices)
Emerge America (provides training to Democratic women)
DLCC (not to be confused with DLC--- this is a national organization that supports Democrats running for state legislature)
