That the GOP gets something passed. They're so fractured that just doing that will be a herculean task.

They've already taken a second vote53-47 that failed - the BCRA amendment on steroids, I believe.

The house will vote on it? I cant see the Paul or Lee voting for that, and if they do I can't see the Freedumb Caucus voting for that.

That would make premiums skyrocket and eventually collapse the system entirely. Unless they are barking mad.

They might be barking mad but we still only need one that is not for all of those scenarios to fail.

It is very helpful to see the permutations that are being discussed. Seeing it in prose is confusing as hell.

Am I following this right? This chart seems to say that after a "skinny bill" is approved that McConnell would then seek to amend it with new provisions, replacing the House bill that passed. Then the House would vote to accept that version if it passes the Senate.

That doesn't sound like something the Freedom Caucus in the House would stand for. I thought a Conference Committee was supposed to hammer out a House/Senate Compromise that then would go back to both chambers for a vote.

Seems if the Senate votes to approve such and such an amendment, he has got to include them in the bill.
