Seems Trump did not consult with 'his' generals or Pentagon before he sent out his tweets about

transgenders not serving in the military in any fashion. Reporter asked about this--if it was true and Sanders Hucky just said that the pres would have to work out a policy about this. just on the news conference

This is truly frightening - how many other decisions will he make military or other in which he does Pachamama Jul 2017 #2
I have since read that the Military was blind sighted by the tweets. riversedge Jul 2017 #6

...not even discuss this with the stakeholders and "managers" of what will e affected?

I don't have Comrade trumpsky's tweets, but I recall it even referencing his military officers as having been consulted. Does he just make this shit up and pull it out if his ass and tweet it on impulse? Seriously.

Donnie says those are his Generals. And they will fall in line or he will blow them up on twitter.

isn't he technically commander-in-chief of the armed forces... the generals are all his subordinates?

Could he also ad-hoc ban women from the military? Black people? Jews? Somehow I don't quite think so...

but then nobody ever lost money underestimating the sanity of military matters.

It could take months for the SCOTUS to get around to unfucking his screw-ups.

It is an issue only in his lil brain. He said to make his deteriorating base happy, it will die back in a couple news cycles.
If he did not bother to include DOD, they can correctly say they are waiting for legislation/rules to be sent to them, then not do a damn thing.

Reminds of our lil petty office tyrant who mentioned an unpopular "rule" we had to follow, effective RIGHT NOW. which instantly deny us our mileage allowance..in the middle of the week, no less.
That allowance netted me 100.00 a month because of my job driving.

Policy and procedures manual are handy things to understand, and I did, so said at the meeting...

"I didn't see it in our list of new regs to add to the manuals."

and petty boss relied, much too unconvincingly, "It's an unwritten rule"

"Strange, I did not hear a word about it at the Admin. meeting this morning"

and he said...really said..."It's an unwritten and unspoken rule".

I couldn't help it..I laughed at hard I had tears, and he fled the meeting. Never heard about the rule again, either.

He rules by Tweet.

He Tweets it. You do it.

There is none of that distasteful talking to people about all of the ramifications, etc.
