The Wheels Are Coming Off the White House

July 27, 2017 at 9:30 am EDT By Taegan Goddard

First Read: “Accusations of incompetency can undermine even the most talented of politicians. Just ask George W. Bush (Iraq war, Hurricane Katrina) or Barack Obama (HealthCare.Gov).”

“But while the events and news over the last 24 hours seem like just another day for the Trump White House, they expose a level of dysfunction and chaos that could leave a lasting mark for a president who said back in February that he was running a ‘fine-tuned machine.'”

“The whole point of electing a businessman to become president was expecting someone to effectively run the government. But what happens when that businessman can’t run the government? That’s the significant long-term danger for Trump and his administration.”

and that he was not just propped up by a foreign country because they were using his incompetence to launder billions under his failing business skills.

CEO sociopath rates are double the average rates. The traits of a cutthroat businessman are too high in my opinion.

Unless they are like Ben and Jerry

brand not substance as long as the money keeps coming and the gibbering adulators keep on stroking Donnie's narcissism.

The healthcare bill does not have work or even be successful. It just has to get done so Donnie can brag and lie.

I was about to mildly scold Mr./Ms.? Goddard for that first line:

“Accusations of incompetency can undermine even the most talented of politicians. Just ask George W. Bush (Iraq war, Hurricane Katrina) or Barack Obama (HealthCare.Gov).”

to put the word talented and George W Bush in the same line is ridiculous. Then I saw it was Chuck Todd who is one of the authors of the original article and thought, "Well Todd is the pre-eminent boot licker". President Obama's roll out of Healthcare.gov was pretty amateur hour for a talented president. W's invasion of Iraq was not incompetence, it was criminal. His response to Katrina and his general presidency was marked by incompetence, as was his governorship of Texas, and basically every other thing he has done in his life.

Trump is the same. Without daddy's money Trump would have ended up in prison or wearing cement shoes in the East River a long time ago.

Running government like a business is a horrible idea.
Especially when the businessman is a dope like Donald Fucking Trump.
