I DVR All The Network Late Night Talk Shows To Listen To The Monologue's And The Audience Reaction..

All the monologues are anti-Trump. They are not only quite funny - but they are quite factual and point out the amazing hypocrisy and insane actions of this president. In that they are anti-Trump - they also become anti-Repug as well.

It is clear - by the reaction of the audiences that they clearly are not Trump supporters and don't take the side of the Repugs - those same Repugs that use the throwaway line whenever they are faced with a question that they cannot answer - you know - the one that 'the American People either support or don't support' whatever is being asked. They throw around 'the American People' without ever backing up their assertions with solid data.

Couple all these Late Night Talk Shows with all the other political comedy shows - and I am pondering what the total viewership
numbers of the American People that are watching these shows and getting a lot of news and a different perspective on the stories of the day.

My hypothesis is that if we add up the viewership of these shows and total that up - that it is well more than that of the audience of the Fox Cable news that a portion of our population is watching. I wonder if someone could tabulate those numbers. I think we'd be pleasantly surprised.

It is my opinion that the comedy shows that point out the hypocrisy of the Repug Party and Trump are more influential than that of Fox.

These comedy shows are doing a great service to the American People and go a long way in formulating public opinion.

Now I think of this with a Repug hat on. If I was a Repug in Congress - I'd be very worried going into 2018 and 2020. The American People are realizing what is happening in this country and how Trump and the Repugs are destroying it - thanks to are modern day Will Rogers. If I were a Repug in Congress - I'd seriously have to be worried about my job going forward.

4. Careful - some audience reaction shots are edited

Many audience shots are edited in post production on many shows. Some to add drama, some to bolster laughter where they may not have been enough. This is particularly so on shows like America's Got Talent and other heavily edited shows which want to add drama to a segment.

he is considered a big joke.

That meme is sinking in to the psyche of the American People thanks to the Late Night hosts and many of the comedy and talk shows. I don't think I've seen any one - guests included - stick up for Trump.
