It was tremendously sad, and very frightening. I heard the part about his lawyer, Magnitsky (yes, that Magnitsky), being arrested and then slowly and painfully murdered in jail. Magnitsky martyred himself; the Russians wanted him to recant (Browder and Magnitsky had uncovered massive financial wrongdoing involving Putin's people), but Magnitsky died, leaving a wife and two children, rather than tell that lie. He was only in his thirties.

It should be mandatory for every congress person. Terrifying story coming from a very intelligent man, well versed on the subject of Putin's Russia.
I was rather stunned by his naming Dana Rohrabacher as a patsy of Putin's, lol, and made me smile.

Browder is incredibly collected and knowledgeable; his whole testimony was riveting.

You missed it? Well sit yourself down and learn the skinny on what is really going on, the dude knows what's going on:

So it took a YEAR for him to get before a committee. At least the GOP can't say he is only surfacing now with the info. He was onto this and tried to alarm the Feds a year ago. He's probably the only person who was not surprised when the Russian names in the Jr meeting surfaced.

Which means the names of the Russians in Jr/Kushner's meeting were in the hands of the Feds one month after they met with Jr/Kushner.
Grassley had those same names and their background in his email to Boente and others (March 31 2017 email), he forwarded Browder's information from July 2016 in that March email. How much you wanna bet that the GOP were shitting bricks when the meeting names publically surfaced.
The Russian names/background/Russian connections didn't surface in the news until the meeting went public and the meeting attendees' names went public, one by one. You could literally go thru Browder's initial July 2016 memo and go check, check, check next to the names. Also in his memo was how the Russian lawyer went to D.C and who she met with there. He was tracking their whereabouts long before anyone else.

Really explains why Putin is so wound up about the Magnitsky act. It prevents him from freely spending the 200 billion dollars he has stolen. Also it shows Putin for the murderous mafia don he really is.

One question I would like to have seen addressed was why was the Lady Russian lawyer even in the country without a valid visa, and why was she seated just behind the former Ambassador in the hearing room there in the capitol building. I had heard that a Republican staffer who got her the seat. (where she could see the Ambassador's computer over his shoulder.)

Also very important that basically the Foreign Agent Registration law is not enforced, and there is a major loophole that Corporations acting as a Foreign Agent do not have to register.
