(7,627 posts)Cruz himself said he was not interested. who would be crazy enough to give up a safe senate seat to go work for Trump given how he is treating session ? Also, it would put it seat in play and the GOP does not want to lose any senators, they already can't get to 50.

Meaning, Republican Senators, despite their eagerness to deprive millions of health care, really haven't much more patience with all of the other shenanigans this administration is up to.

He has been pretty quite since this Russian Collusion story got legs. My guess is that he is already caught up in it, and is smart enough to turn down the AG position if offered.
