Mitch McConnell failed. Now what?

I've always wondered if there isn't some blackmail material hanging over McConnell's head. He clearly knew that what he was trying to foist off would simply be passed immediately by the House, but he kept on and on...

Have consequences been threatened if he didn't get a repeal bill through the Senate? Will there be retaliation against him for this failure? I don't know. I also don't know what sort of blackmail evidence is out there, but I would be far from surprised if there weren't some skeletons in Mitch's closet.

Poor Mitch...
