Sheldon Adelson and his paper can't fawn hard enough, he's actual buddies with Steve Wynn (ALSO a casino magnate, and the RNC's official money man), and he's moderated many of the more extreme positions in the last couple of years. Not "moderate" as in today's moderate, bit almost an actual, 1980s moderate Republican.

He's also good-looking, speaks Spanish, and quit a lifetime federal judgeship to run for governor (rumor has it that Reid nominated him for judge to get him out of the way for NV Dems).

Although I was definitely going to volunteer for her House campaign (which she won by some monumentally tiny fraction last November).

Heller is an asshole, but affable, and has at least tried to APPEAR moderate lately (without angering his base). Jackie Rosen is a Jewish woman, and I'm afraid the Repub's will savage her over that. Although to be honest, they'll savage and smear whoever they can for totally made up reasons. Heller gets the lion's share of the Mormon vote and donations, but I wonder if Jacky Rosen can score some of that sweet, sweet single-issue Adelson money?
