The Sturm und Drang: O Woe is the GOP!

I can't stop giggling. It's all so MAUDLIN and OPERATIC.

Words & phrases, everywhere in the MSM, SO wantonly/ERRONEOUSLY employed as to become meaningless:
'despair'
'It’s a failure for the American people'
'his last best hope of repealing Obamacare'
and my favorite:
'fingering them — and only them — for the death of a seven-year campaign promise. After taking a politically poisonous vote on a controversial repeal bill'. Not to mention all the GOP's threats, threats, threats to steal from us whatever we hold dear. And trump's equally odious blood-lust. It's about snuffing us all out & them not getting what they want. And one govt official "declaring war" against another. "The Death of a Promise". Backstabbing, betrayal & collapse. Meanwhile, we have our own things to cope with, not the least of which is them.

I refer to this article:
"House Republicans despair after health care collapse"
http://www.politico.com/story/2017/07/28/obamacare-repeal-failure-house-republicans-react-241086

Obviously, to us-here, what this all boils down to is a squabble between rich, white, greedy, narcissistic, antisocial, perverted, criminal, sociopathic, worthless, dull-witted (but predatory) men. This is an Operetta of their own making, cheerfully broadcast & directed by the MSM. All that betrayal between Putin/ Trump/ MSM/ McCain/ GOP/ etc, etc. All the drama, darling.

I haven't yet seen what I want to see: Mitch McConnell crying. 2 years ago, the old me would have just GASPED at the idea. An old man crying? That's supposed to be sad, not funny. It almost calls for the 2nd movement of Beethoven's 7th symphony. Like this drama of "loss" & "failure" should strum the tender sympathies that stir within all regular people, on the GOP's behalf. (Them trying & failing to get the rest of us to drop dead, I mean.) It's not working, none of it.

Look at them- they're all broken & in bad condition. Except M. McConnell, whose seething hate seems to keep him alive supernaturally. The rest of them have led FULL lives of privilege & have one foot in the grave and another on a banana peel. They want to have as much fun as they can, at everyone else's expense, while they can. With the best health care! The youngest of them at least want to live to see the results of the damage they've inflicted on the world.

Aren't the Koch Bros getting up there? They'd all better hurry up and buy whatever it is they've been saving up for, sooner rather than later. Before they get those loosey-goosey bowels, terrible arthritis, bedsores and painful urination.

Can you imagine anyone but a monster, sniveling & licking his wounds, just because his very own plan to enrich himself/ cause widespread PAIN didn't pan out.

your choice of music. The Beethoven is much too beautiful to waste on Turtle!
How about Barber's Adagio? MUCH more melodramatic!
