(7,768 posts)The 'somewhat' or 'mostly' approve will likely drift too. These people may sit out and not vote. The rabid hard-cores will probably bottom out in the middle 20's.

(58,785 posts)us that a very large majority of Republicans in 2016 would vote for ANYTHING over Democrats. They enable this by demonizing Democrats and denying truth about their candidate. I'm afraid that in 2020 Hitler would look like a viable option.
They speak of values and ideology, and yes they do have them, but all are being set aside on polling day in favor of voting their team.
