Can Donald pardon himself for past-present-future rapes and murders?

Yay, that even if true that he can and he may pardon himself in Federal cases, he cannot pardon himself or anyone in STATES' COURTS!

Plus it be relevant to Amendment 25th and Impeachment.

He would have to be convicted and admit guilt I believe to be pardoned. rickford66 Jul 2017 #9
I understand pardons can be before any convictions. Madam45for2923 Jul 2017 #10
You're correct. A crime had to be know to have been committed for amnesty. rickford66 Jul 2017 #11

A RICO conviction in NY means that Trumpy loses everything. Couldn't happen to a more deserving asshole.

No, Trump can’t pardon himself. The Constitution tells us so.

Can a president pardon himself? Four days before Richard Nixon resigned, his own Justice Department’s Office of Legal Counsel opined no, citing “the fundamental rule that no one may be a judge in his own case.”

...and yes, it happens if rarely. Seriously, I've been thinking how Mueller can ensure that prosecution of Shit Gibbon for what ever crimes Mueller uncovers can be pursued and referring the case(s) to states' AG's seems to me a possible strategy. Anybody with a more intimate knowledge of our justice system care to chime in on this?

The power to pardon is a presidential act authorized by Article II, Section 2, of the U.S. Constitution. With this power, a President can remove a conviction, commute a sentence, or grant amnesty from future conviction for a given crime.

Added on edit:

Is amnesty considered a pardon then ?
