Yay, that even if true that he can and he may pardon himself in Federal cases, he cannot pardon himself or anyone in STATES' COURTS!
Plus it be relevant to Amendment 25th and Impeachment.

Seriously, I've been thinking how Mueller can ensure that prosecution of Shit Gibbon for what ever crimes Mueller uncovers can be pursued and referring the case(s) to states' AG's seems to me a possible strategy. Anybody with a more intimate knowledge of our justice system care to chime in on this?

(5,521 posts)The power to pardon is a presidential act authorized by Article II, Section 2, of the U.S. Constitution. With this power, a President can remove a conviction, commute a sentence, or grant amnesty from future conviction for a given crime.
