I get the dry joke but you could see thoughts of her firing as he blabbed.

I wonder if the enforced self-starvation and bootcamp fitness (and plastic surgery consult) has yet begun?

I can't sympathize with her--she is a willing participant, but uggh the disdain is immeasurable.

Oh, and sadly, she's done for pearls what even Babs Bush Senior couldn't do (and I'm look askance at EVER wearing them again)

The eye rolling and sneer she uses when she is annoyed by their repeated questions trying to get to a truthful answer (good luck with THAT with the current thugs in the White House), wear thin very quickly. The phony smile clashes with the dead look in her eyes. Yep, working in that environment has got to be soul crushing. But it is one of the primary qualifications for her job. You must be able to lie on the fly and not get too bogged down in the chaos in the rooms behind you. Just smile and wave, boys. Smile and wave.
