2. He should be thanked, and it is sad that some feel the need to cynically characterize

McCain, when he did the right thing, and effectively, along with Collins, Murkowski, and every Democrat in the Senate vote this terrible bill down

3. I agree. He made a big deal out of need to work w/Dems to hash something out.

He wasn't posturing. He meant it. He said he & others have good ideas that he thinks some Dems would agree with.

He didn't like the secretive, push-this-down-your-throat way that McConnell did this terrible bill for political reasons.
