1. Agree but I would phrase it a little differently...

their primary concern is to retain and nurture white privilege. Anything that supports that end result - destruction of public education systems, immigration control, increased prison populations of minorities who then have felony records isolating them from society...all these things are built to preserve white privilege. Conscious or subconscious, that's where his base is. Job #1 is to care for the well being of the tribe (and f'ck everyone else).

What makes up the Trump base today has more to do with being White, few job and educational opportunities, deeply Religious, anti-abortion, anti-Contraception, anti-LGBT, anti-Muslim, anti-science, pro-gun, pro-low taxes, etc..

I apologize for the categorization, but that is where they fall. I know of way too many people who fall into these categories and talking with them about what is happening is nearly impossible.
