So Trump has the support of 36% of the country. These are diehard

fans of his who will follow him anywhere. There is a certain % who are independents and Democrats. That doesn't leave much room for conservatives who Republicans claim are really going to do republicans in come 2018 if they don't repeal Obama care. I mean what % could they possibly make up? 10% at most? Are republicans making up that narrative?

Recall 27 or 28% for a brief time.

Now Cheney went below 25% which I didn't think is possible, so I think tRump has the potential to get into Cheney territory.

all else, if they are mostly republican...., then there are about 10% of republican voters who don't care for Obama care and don't like Trump and who would penalize Congress and Trump's agenda for not getting rid of Obama care. I guess I am assuming because Trump's 36% bought that he would replace healthcare with something better they will not penalize him in 2018 because there was nothing better. I'm assuming the two groups are mutually exclusive.

after the "smoking gun" tape became public. In other words, 1/4 of the country still supported a president who was caught on tape obstructing justice. Even after all the dirt about his involvement in the Watergate scandal came out, they stuck with him. One of these die-hards was an old great-aunt of mine who was convinced he had been framed and kept a picture of him on her wall for the rest of her life. There will probably be about the same percentage who will stick with Dolt 45 no matter what happens.

How many of those are near to saying the opposite? Very few are die hard fans or willing to follow him anywhere.

You are missing a lot of shades of gray.

They got the thug part and are happy but when their jobs don't come back they'll start to desert him. Most politicians don't last long if it the voters in the pocketbook.
