Abuse of power?

With every passing day, Donald Trump is more and more determined to tear down our government and our institutions with his presidential decisions. It doesn't matter what the issue might be - he alone will decide what is best for the rest of us.

Whether it be changing the transgender policy in our military or dictating the way in which the American people receive their healthcare, Donald Trump will make the decision.

Whether it be firing his Chief of Staff after a vulgar tirade by one of his business buddies or threatening Senators that voted against his wishes on the healthcare bill, nothing is out of bounds for this authoritarian president.

It was under his direction that the Republican Senate kept putting forth bills that were totally unacceptable to most of his own Party. Then he blamed them when each and every time, they failed. He then attempted to tell Mitch McConnell how to run the Senate and how he should do away with the 60-vote requirement. He has abused his power in every instance.

Today, he brings in a new Chief of Staff. But few expect him to change the way Donald Trump runs the White House. The chaos will continue. The abuse of power will continue.

We can only hope that the Republican Party awakes from their victim status and realizes what is happening to them and to our country?
