1. This is what is wrong with our politics! The root cause of most of our problems is this big money

coming in to our (former) representatives to get the Quid Pro Quo out of these politicians. It is why they try 4 times to shove a bill with 12% approval from Americans! It is why Climate Change legislation goes no where. It is why immigration, education, criminal justice reform... don't get done. It is why after Sandy Hook when over 90% of Americans wanted some type of gun control enacted for assault weapons and waiting periods and yet nothing was passed.

When will we stop focusing on the symptoms of the corruption of the money in our politics and demand Publicly Funded Elections, an end to campaign donations, Super PACs, Dark Money, and the Revolving Door. If we can accomplish this we can regain representative Democracy and solve these long standing policies!
