Why doesn't the media just ignore Trump

As much as he says he hates the media, Trump thrives off of media attention. He loves it....I think the amount of attention that he received in the primaries is the reason that he won the nomination....the media should ignore all the crazy tweets, the dumb statements, his speeches, huckleberry-sanders, etc....Some may say he is the POTUS and must be covered, some may say that if the media ignores him then he will be able to inact his agenda and everything in the shadows without people paying attention....That would be true if we were talking about any other right wing politician, they would love it. But not trump because he really has no real agenda. His agenda is being famous and having everyone talk about him.

There is a resurgence of investigative journalism which I am happy to see; the NYT & WaPo are breaking new stories every day regarding this POS. Even if Trump is thrilled with the attention most of it is negative and he can't change that no matter how hard he bellows about how great he is.

In the meantime Mueller is putting together his case rather quietly without much fanfare. This is like Watergate on meth. As quickly as everything is moving, I believe Mueller will have enough evidence to present even if 45 fires him in the near future.
